- "The Improvement Guide: A Practical Approach to Enhancing Organizational Performance" by Gerald Langley, Ronald Moen, Kevin Nolan, Thomas Nolan, Clifford Norman and Lloyd Provost
- "Overcoming Organizational Defenses: Facilitating Organizational Learning" by Chris Argyris
- "Managing the Unexpected: Resilient Performance in an Age of Uncertainty" by Karl Weick and Kathleen Sutcliffe
- "The Design of Everyday Things" by Don Norman
- "Human Error" by James Reason
